Bakewell Tarts Inspired By The GBBO

Minnie's Bake Shop takes on The Great British Bake Off! As professional bakers and general lovers of baked goods, we whipped up a few of our favorites inspired by the GBBO. These little tarts are linked to the British town of Bakewell. The pastry crust is layered with homemade seasonal jam and frangipane, a yummy filling made with ground almonds. We top ours, simply, with chopped toasted almonds or with an almond-flavored icing! Our jams are homemade regularly and made with what's best and seasonally available!
